Junior school washroom refurbishment – Leicester
April 23rd, 2015

Flush Washrooms secure further works at Church Hill C of E Junior School Thurmaston, in the heart of Leicestershire. The works include a complete toilet & washroom refurbishment of 4 areas.

This washroom refurbishment included washroom cubicles and IPS panelling systems. The toilet cubicles, which were bespoke manufactured to suit the needs and requirements of the school, included shaped pilasters and doors, which were supplied in bright, vibrant and contrasting colour schemes. The IPS panelling supplied has a dual purpose, in concealing pipework and services and also completing the look and feel of the washroom. The IPS panels used can be full height, floor to ceiling or low level with a choice of concealed panelling and easy access panel fittings.

The laminated semi-counter top vanity units used for this project, are manufactured from high pressure laminate with integral upstands.

All sanitary ware used on the project was supplied by Twyford baths and includes the Sola School totally rimless toilet with improved cleanliness, therefore ideal for infants and juniors within a school environment.

The basin taps selected, have a self-closing function to prevent flooding and more increasingly important, water saving by controlling water flow.

The safety flooring was selected from the polysafe range of safety vinyl, which combines the assurance of sustainable slip resistance with high durability for years of performance and use.

Flush Washrooms completed this project during the Leicestershire Easter school holidays both within time and on budget.
