School washroom refurbishment at London College
October 21st, 2014

Flush washrooms secure secondary school washroom refurbishment at St Ignatius College in Enfield town in London. The project included the toilet refurbishment of the Boys washroom facilities this to include washroom toilet cubicles and IPS panelling systems. These have been constructed using 13mm SGL (solid grade laminate) which can offer both water and impact resistance together with vandal resistant properties ideal to perform in wet and dry environments.

All the sanitaryware for each of the washrooms is selected by flush washrooms to meet the demands of a school washroom refurbishment. This to include the sola school rimless WC together with concealed energy efficient cisterns. The washroom vanity basins where specified and supplied by Twyford bathrooms and are fitted with (non concussive) self-closing taps to prevent flooding.

The installation also included DDA compliant (DOC M) shower and washroom facility. The installation is designed for the use by ambulant disabled or walking impaired persons. The works included the installation shower area with slip resistant flooring and a DDA compliant disabled WC inclusive of the required horizontal grab rails and pull handles incorporated within the toilet cubicle.

All the washroom light fittings supplied are using the latest LED high frequency occupancy fittings with cool white energy efficient lamps. Each light is operated with a integral 360 degree PIR sensor that operates when a persons movement or occupancy is detected.
